Potchefstroom Gimnasium riders recorded a series of strong results at the second North West mountain-bike race in Vryburg, according to a public update from the school's Gimmie-Sport channel.
Gimmie-Sport described the course as flat but technical, with rocky terrain that tested the riders' skill and persistence. The school listed Hanru Odendaal first in the subjunior boys' category and Rohann Scholtz fifth in the same category.
Mieke Erasmus placed second in the youth girls' category. The youth boys' results included a first place for Alex Fourie, second for Phillip Moodie, third for Dian Scholtz and eighth for Juwan Serfontein.
