Laerskool Baillie Park's Cubs archers won both team sections at the annual AGA-SA North West Provincial Archery Championships held at Hoërskool Ferdinand Postma on Saturday, 1 August, according to the school's official public post.
The Baillie Park Cubs 3D team took first place with a combined 1,525 out of 1,800 points. The Cubs BE team also finished first, recording 2,935 out of 3,600 points. The school presented the team results alongside individual placings across both divisions.
In the Cubs girls' 3D section, Lianka Coetzee placed first with 254/300 and Anje-Rene Coetzee finished second with 240/300. Lianka also won the Cubs girls' BE section with 275/300, while Anje-Rene placed fourth. Klara Venter was sixth in the girls' 3D section.
Hudson Hammill led the Cubs boys' results with second places in both 3D and BE, scoring 261/300 and 276/300. Gerhard Grobler was third in the boys' BE section with 271/300. The school's post also reported Hudson second overall in both divisions and Lianka third overall in BE.
